# Founding Pricebook Clean-Up — ServiceTitan Ready-to-Import File in 48 Hours **Price: $99 one-time (founding price, first 10 orders — then $149)** **Type: Done-for-you service, delivered as digital files (clean CSV + change report)** ## What it is Your ServiceTitan pricebook is a mess. You send your pricebook export exactly as-is, and within 48 hours of the file arriving you get back a clean, import-ready file in ServiceTitan format — plus a plain-English change report listing everything that was fixed, dropped, or flagged. You never run any software. You send one file, you get one file back, you import it. Fixing a 200–500 item book by hand takes 20–40 hours. Consultants charge thousands. This is the founding run of an automated clean-up built specifically for ServiceTitan pricebooks: $99 flat, any size book up to 1,000 items. ## Who it's for - Contractors on **ServiceTitan** — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mixed-trade shops — whose pricebook has grown duplicates, missing codes, inconsistent categories, and prices typed in messy formats. - **Founding run is ServiceTitan only.** Jobber and Housecall Pro are not in the founding run — if you use one of those, join the waitlist noted in the order form instead of ordering. ## What the clean-up actually does - Removes exact and near-duplicates (same code, or same name + price) — every removal is listed in the report, nothing is silently deleted - Generates a unique code for every item missing one - Normalizes categories to one consistent spelling/structure (for example, `plumb`, `Heating`, `Cooling`, `WH` variants become consistent categories) - Turns prices like "$1,250.00" into clean numbers ServiceTitan accepts; costs are normalized the same way - Standardizes units of measure (for example, `ea`/`each` → EA, `hr`/`HRS` → HR) - **Flags — never silently changes** — rows priced at or below cost, or missing a price or cost, so you stay in control of every pricing decision Proven on the included sample book (synthetic data): **60 rows in → 52 rows out, 8 duplicates removed, 20 codes generated, 118 money fields normalized, 5 rows flagged for review.** ## What you receive Within 48 hours of your file arriving, delivered as a zip by email / order delivery update: 1. **`clean_servicetitan.csv`** — your clean pricebook in ServiceTitan import format. Item IDs are left blank for new items, the way ServiceTitan wants them. 2. **`changes_report.md`** — a plain-English report of everything that was removed, recoded, recategorized, or flagged, and why. 3. Import instructions (also in Step 3 below). ## Step by step — what the buyer does ### Step 1 — Export your pricebook from ServiceTitan 1. In ServiceTitan, go to **Settings → Pricebook** (or Pricebook → Export, depending on your version). 2. Export your Services and Materials to Excel/CSV. Export the whole book — cleaning a partial book creates partial duplicates later. 3. **Save a copy of that original export somewhere safe and do not touch it.** That file is your undo button. 4. Don't clean anything first. Duplicates, typos, weird prices — send it exactly as-is. ### Step 2 — Check out and send your file 1. Pay the $99 founding price at checkout. 2. You'll get an upload link plus a short 5-question form: business name, trade (HVAC / plumbing / electrical / mixed), roughly how many items, anything you already know is broken, and whether you want flagged rows left as-is (the default) or dropped. 3. Upload your export. **The 48-hour clock starts when the file arrives, not when you pay.** **Your data:** your file is used only to produce your clean file and report. It's never shared, sold, or used for anyone else's book. No ServiceTitan login is ever requested — if anyone asks for it, it's not us. ### Step 3 — Import the clean file (about 15 minutes, safely) 1. **Read the flagged section of the report first.** Rows priced at or below cost, or missing a price/cost, were NOT changed — they're listed for you to decide on. Fix them in the clean file now if you want. 2. **Import a small batch first:** start with one category, then check 5–10 items in the pricebook — names, codes, prices — against the report. 3. Import the rest once the first batch looks right. 4. Spot-check in the mobile app: search 3 services the way a tech would. If a tech can find it fast, the structure is working. 5. Keep your original export + the clean file + the report together. That's your audit trail. **If the import errors:** send the error message and the file that was delivered — one free fix round for import errors is included, and if the clean file can't be made to import, you get a full refund. ## Requirements and limits - **Platform:** ServiceTitan only in the founding run. File in, file out. **What formats can I send?** CSV or XLSX in any messy state. What comes back is a ServiceTitan-format CSV plus the change report. **What if half my prices are wrong?** Wrong-priced rows get flagged in the report, not guessed at or silently changed. You decide what to fix before you import. **My book has more than 1,000 items — can I order?** The founding $99 price covers books up to 1,000 items. If yours is larger, ask before ordering so scope can be confirmed first. **I use Jobber or Housecall Pro. Can I order?** Not in the founding run — ServiceTitan only.
